Island Paradise Realty is registered with the Registrar of Corporate Affairs and Intellectual Property of the Government of Barbados.  Island Paradise Realty is also licensed under the Profession Trade & Business Registration Act, Cap. 373 of the Laws of Barbados.

Chairman

Fernando Balkaran, MBA, B. Soc. Sc., (First Class Honors), is the Chairman of Island Paradise Realty and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Barbados.  He is also E-commerce Certified by Worldsites Inc. (WSI) of Toronto and is Mutual Funds/Investments certified by the Barbados Community College.  Fernando is also a Tax Administration Specialist consultant in Tax/Vat Law, Policy and Auditing.  He taught University in both the Caribbean and Canada.

Fernando has been involved in real estate for over a decade in both Canada and the Caribbean.  He worked for over 20 years in hospitality, finance & planning, University teaching of finance & management courses, property management & development, and in Tax/Vat areas in Canada, Barbados and Guyana.

Fernando also has a background in property valuation, computation of companies’ net asset value and shares valuation of private companies. 

He is Chairman and a Director of Global Internet Services Inc. (G.I.S.I.), FBMA Global Inc., and President of a non-profit organization in Barbados.

Chief Executive Officer

Earlyn Shuffler, B.Eng. is the C. E. O. of Island Paradise Realty. He has been involved in real estate sales and property management for over twenty five years. Earlyn also has more than twenty years experience in the Tourism Industry and was President of the Barbados Tourism Authority for five years (1995 to 2000).  He actively participated in the development of a ten year  Tourism Strategic Plan for Barbados, which defined the concept of in-land tourism development projects that included golf resorts, condominiums and townhouses.

Earlyn is well known in the business community as a successful Senior Executive Manager , having been General Manager of Intel Barbados Ltd., Regional General Manager of Atlantis Submarines for ten years and C.E.O. of the Barbados Golf Club for two years. He is currently providing various Management Consultancy Services in the Tourism Industry to hotels and other service providers.

He is also the Managing Director of Global Internet Solutions Inc. (G.I.S.I.), an Internet Technology company that provides Internet based technologies and marketing systems for small and medium sized businesses in Barbados and the Caribbean.
